Class description

Bachata Level 1 is designed to introduce participants to the vibrant and rhythmic dance style originating from the Dominican Republic. The course focuses on building a solid foundation by teaching fundamental steps, basic partner connection, and body movement techniques. Students will learn the essential elements of Dominican bachata, including the characteristic hip movement, footwork variations, and the and playfulness. Through a combination of interactive group exercises and individual practice, participants will gain confidence in their ability to dance bachata and develop a sense of musicality. This course is perfect for anyone with little to no prior experience in bachata who is eager to immerse themselves in the world of Dominican Bachata.
